1. a fold of flesh hanging from the jaw, as of a very fat person.

I can literally take 5-10 years off my face with what I call my “facelift” raw foods diet.
Here it is:
Any and all raw fruits and non-starchy veggies
Avocado ½ to 1 a day (if you are new and wanting to be 100 percent raw then just increase your avocado to your comfort level).
Lots of water
Nuts & seeds and salt are eliminated or added in sparingly on weekends. (I also can do a teaspoon or two of chia seeds several times a week – they have zero negative impact on my visage).
Backup in times of crises (when I might eat something bad): A bit more avocado and/or some cooked squash or greens (or any non-starchy veggie) on weekends. I do not use oil. Steaming is best.
This is what it looks like for me on an average day:
- Juices and green smoothies through noon
- Mono meal of fruit
- Big salad or roll/dip with avocado
- Nice cream after dinner (but hoping to move this to before dinner as I continue to adjust to raw).
In an emergency I can also have a little avocado before bed if I need it for sleep. Fat fruits make me sleepy.
And I use barley grass or goji powder sometimes – mostly due to the fact that I want to use up what I have and it makes me feel good and boosts my greens! Not sure I will continue with this once the bags are gone.
Please let me know if you try it and what happens for you. For best results eliminate ALL nuts, seeds and salt except perhaps chia in smoothies. For second best results use Tanny Raw style dressing with things like small amounts of hemp and no salt.
